Hello, I'm Jim Semsel, but you'll often see "James 'Jim' Semsel" on my business card and marketing materials. James is my formal legal name, but please feel free to call me Jim.

My Journey Begins

My journey in real estate began back in 2004, starting with C21 Rich Abrams, where I quickly rose to become a top-producing realtor. Seeking greater opportunities, I transitioned to another agency to maximize my income. However, the challenges posed by the subprime crisis demanded too much of my time, leading me to temporarily leave the industry to prioritize my family.

My Return

Reflecting on my time away, I realize I left the real estate business at the peak of my career, poised for even greater success had I stayed. Now, as a single parent with two incredible children—my 21-year-old daughter, who is pursuing a career in veterinary medicine, and my 18-year-old son, who has a passion for horticulture—I find myself navigating the challenges of supporting two college-bound children.

Moving Forward

Following my divorce, I sought to build a more financially stable future beyond my role as an EMT. This led me back to the world of real estate, where I've reunited with Rich to embark on this exciting journey once again.

In my real estate career, I achieved notable success, ranking as one of the top ten realtors in Middlesex County in 2010. With a track record of excellence, I've successfully closed $10 million in real estate transactions, boasting an impressive closing percentage of 97% across all my deals.

Returning to the real estate business has presented its challenges, especially as I initially re-entered the industry part-time. However, I quickly realized that my passion lies in dedicating my full attention to serving my clients, which is why I am committed to providing them with the highest level of service and expertise.

Throughout my real estate career, the focus has primarily been on serving buyers, constituting approximately 75% of my client base. I firmly believe that understanding and addressing buyers' needs are fundamental to maintaining a thriving and quality-driven business as a realtor.
